It retains much of its original charm while benefitting from updated and modern amenities. This charming detached cottage is set in a stunning, rural location approximately 4 miles from Fochabers. Ben View has 360° views for miles and miles, with views of the forest, which is owned by the Forestry Commission, from the front and hill views from the back, showing you the best of the Scottish scenery.
The cottage is surrounded by fields which are home to cows in the summer months. Due to this, please keep pets on leads, however the cottage benefits from two gardens, one of which is fully enclosed, perfect for dogs and children alike. Due to its lovely location, the property is ideal for families, as well as golf enthusiasts with a number of courses nearby.
Ben View is right in the centre of the Scottish Whisky Trail, with several of the main distilleries within easy reach. Forest walks can be enjoyed from the doorstep, or head out and visit the picturesque Spey Bay, 3 miles, where there is the Scottish Dolphin Centre, a fantastic place to visit at any time of the year. The nearest town of Elgin is just under 8 miles away, and Inverness is within easy reach for a day trip. Beach 11 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 4 miles.
