Resting on the Scottish coast in the seaside village of Portknockie is this wonderful semi-detached house, 4 Gordon Street. This delightful fisherman's cottage showcases a pastel blue exterior and roadside parking, along with having easy access to many of Moray's stunning coastal towns, making for a superb holiday home for a group of six. After taking in the surrounding sea breeze, venture inside the idyllic dwelling to find yourself in an inviting sitting room; kick off your shoes and unwind on the sofas in front of the warm woodburning stove and TV. The kitchen is fitted with all the essentials needed to rustle up those home-cooked favourites, to be enjoyed at the close-by dining table with all the family. The ground floor is home to a wonderful king-size bedroom for you to rest your head in after a day filled with coastal walks; the bedroom also benefits from being close to a bathroom with a bath and shower over. Head upstairs to find two more bedrooms, one being a double and the other being a spacious twin room - perfect for the kids! After a well-deserved rest, spend the day exploring the clifftop village of Portknockie with its handful of friendly pubs, convenience store and award-winning Portknockie Fish and Chip Shop a stone’s throw away; the village is also home to a stunning harbour and open-air paddling pool, as well as numerous walking trails to embark on, including the Portknockie cliffs path where you can view the famed Bow Fiddle Rock. Travel west to Findochty via the Coastal Trail and catch the sun's rays on Findochty Beach; before continuing on to the town of Buckie where you can find a fantastic golf club, Heritage Centre, and harbour. Travel further along the coast to the town of Elgin and tour the fascinating Elgin and Moray Motor Museums, marvel at the historic landmark of Lady Hill and enjoy a riverside picnic at Cooper Park. Make the most of Moray's coastline, where if you’re lucky you may be able to spot the Moray Firth dolphins which frequent the shores and visit the picture-postcard settlements of Banff, Lossiemouth and Cullen where a plethora of activities for all ages are waiting to be experienced. There is also the popular WDC Scottish Dolphin Centre, where you can visit the observation hut with live web cameras and film screenings. For a memorable stay in Moray, in a charming setting, choose 4 Gordon Street. EPC Rating: Band F
