Centrally situated in the popular coastal village of Portknockie, this smart fisherman's cottage is the perfect venue for a great holiday. With lots of space and oozing comfort and style, it is ideal for a family or group of friends who will simply love the close proximity to the sea and the fabulous scenery. There are three tastefully presented bedrooms with crisp white bed linen, one of which is on the ground floor. The open plan living area has a dining area where guests will enjoy sharing meals and stories around the massive table before relaxing on the comfortable sofas at the end of an active day. The well-equipped kitchen ensures that cooking these meals is an easy task. On warmer days the private rear garden and patio will be appreciated as a place to enjoy a morning coffee or for dining alfresco. Just a few steps away is the fabulous Moray Firth coast with its rocky cliffs, golden sands and numerous pretty little fishing villages dotted along its coastline. From Portknockie visitors can take an easy walk along the shoreline into the larger village of Cullen with its golden sands and perhaps enjoy lunch out before retracing their steps home. A holiday in Portknockie means that not only can you explore the wonderful coastline and watch the famous dolphins as they jump past, but it is ideally located to venture inland and perhaps pick up the famous Malt Whisky Trail or even visit the city of Aberdeen to the east and Inverness to the west. The north east coast of Scotland is a truly perfect holiday destination with lovely scenery and fabulous wildlife and this charming cottage is a real home from home. EPC Rating: Band D
