Portknockie stands high on the rocks overlooking the spectacular Moray Firth with far reaching views to the Black Isle. Many a day you can sit on the benches and watch for the arrival of the dolphins who come to feed just off the harbour wall. There is much to do and keep busy with in the surrounding area such as beach combing, hill and forestry walking, jet skiing and sailing in the summer. There is also a small outdoor swimming pool in a designated area by the harbour. the golf course is only a few mile away. There are two hotels in the village, also a village shop, coffee shop, and a fish and chip shop. There is an exciting playpark for young children .
This vacation home is located in Buckie. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Bow Fiddle Rock and Moray Firth, while Portsoy Pottery and Banff Museum are cultural highlights. Portsoy Ice Cream and Macduff Marine Aquarium are also worth visiting.
