Set in Speyside, which is renowned for river fishing and whisky distilleries, this property is perfect for guests looking for a peaceful retreat with all local amenities within easy reach. The Malt Whisky Trail is great for dram enthusiasts, and there are plenty of attractions within close proximity of the cottage, including an outdoor activity centre and Grantown East a culture and heritage centre with a cafe, visitor centre and a converted train carriage. Further afield is Ballindalloch Castle, where you can take a tour around the home where the MacPherson Grants have lived since 1546. The entrance hallway at the property leads to a cosy lounge, with a wood burner, TV and plenty of board games to keep everyone entertained. Through to the galley style kitchen, which is bright and contains an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, washing machine and tumble dryer, along with a small table that is the perfect place to sit and enjoy a quick breakfast. There is a conservatory that leads on from the kitchen which has a dining table for six guests and is a lovely place to spend evenings watching the sunset. Also on the ground floor is a spacious king size bedroom that is located at the front of the cottage and decorated with lovely pieces of art. The bathroom has a hand held shower over the bath, a separate shower, WC and double vanity. Upstairs on the first floor are two further bedrooms a king size with en suite bathroom with hand held shower over bath and WC, and a super king size zip and link (which can be made up as a twin on request). The garden is completely enclosed and has a grassy area to the rear and side of the property, with garden furniture that let you sit and soak up the sun on a nice day. The gravel driveway at the front of the cottage has ample parking for up to three cars. There is a secure outbuilding that guests are welcome to use for storing outdoor equipment such as bikes, fishing rods and golf clubs.
