Wow! Undoubtedly One Of The Best Houses Along The North Norfolk Coast, The Ballroom Stands Proudly A, Blakeney

Norfolk. Sleeps up to 10

Wow! Undoubtedly one of the best houses along the North Norfolk coast, The Ballroom stands proudly above the coastline in Blakeney and offers uninterrupted views across the saltmarsh and out to sea. This exquisite property affords its guests a high degree of privacy in a luxurious setting with lovingly curated interiors which offer a truly exceptional and unique holiday experience.

With five beautifully furnished en-suite bedrooms, each exuding their own style and attention to detail, there are plenty of opportunities to take in the views, particularly from the comfort of the decadent sitting room.

With glorious saltmarsh and sea views from almost every window, this truly exceptional luxury retreat has been sublimely updated to offer every 21st century comfort whilst staying true to its heritage. As the name suggests, The Ballroom once provided the venue in Blakeney where many a good night would have been spent dancing upon the wooden parquet ballroom floor, whilst enjoying the romantic views over the saltmarshes and sandbanks. The importance of its history was not lost upon the owners, who have created a truly bespoke and unique holiday home, whilst maintaining the character and fabric of the original building. By adopting authentic Art Deco styling throughout, you are left amazed at how even the smallest of details has been catered for, with constant surprises for those that care to look for them. This is exemplified by the attention that has been shown to the original ballroom floor, which still runs through the sitting room and into some of the ground floor bedrooms. A true labour of love!

To bring the house into the modern day, the owners have extended the living areas and have added en-suite bathrooms to all five bedrooms, creating a truly wonderful experience for guests who are lucky enough to stay. All bathrooms have been appointed to a very high standard and come with their own individual styling, often built upon the canvas of different marbles and all come with powerful rainfall showers. The Art Deco design truly enhances the quality of the accommodation, with the sitting room being the ultimate exemplar of the owners intention. From here, you can relax in luxurious surroundings, whilst enjoying unparalleled views of the coast.

The fabulous detail continues into the garden and roof top terrace, where you have the choice of one of many seating options. Whether you choose the sunken fire pit, the formal dining area set on the large terrace, the roof top terrace and balcony, or would prefer to simply pull up a chair at the bottom of the garden to read a book, you’ll be blessed with unhindered views of the spectacular coastline. With the passing of time and the changes in weather, the views are in constant flux at The Ballroom. Rain or shine, the marshes will always be busy with the various wildlife murmurations and migrations. For the young at heart, there is also a treehouse to explore and enjoy.

At nearly one acre in size, you can enjoy a mixture of flat, wooded grounds and formal planting. Please be aware that the grassed area on the seaward side of the house is sloped and therefore caution is advised in wet conditions, especially with young children. Beside the views, the garden is also fully-enclosed and the adjacent parking offers ample off-road parking for seven cars, perfect if you are sharing the house with friends or family.
