There are also plenty of things to see and do. The market town of Stalham is just 5 miles away. Wroxham, known as the capital of The Norfolk Broads, is just 12 miles away, where you can take a daily boat or river trip - by far the best way to appreciate the beauty of The Broads.Bacton Woods are also close by and are ideal for walking and woodland picnics. East Ruston Vicarage Gardens are just a short drive away too, with over 32 acres of outstanding gardens. Be sure to pay a visit to the popular seaside town of Cromer, as well as other beaches, such as Horsey Beach, where a colony of grey seals can be seen (during November to February you can visit the newborn seal pups; a viewing platform is set up for guests to visit without disturbing the wildlife). Alternatively, spend a day in the cathedral city of Norwich, where you’ll find high street shops and plenty of places to eat out,the famous Norwich City Castle museum, cinemas and nightlife all within a 45-minutes drive.
