Located opposite the sea wall in the village of Walcott, with its shop, café, fish and chip shop and two pubs, all within walking distance.
Free Spirit offers a great base and starting point from which to explore this wonderful area. Walkers will be in their element, especially with the direct access to the coastal path. There are also plenty of things to see and do. The market town of Stalham is just 5 miles away. Wroxham, known as the capital of The Norfolk Broads, is just 12 miles away, where you can take a daily boat or river trip - by far the best way to appreciate the beauty of The Broads.Bacton Woods are also close by and are ideal for walking and woodland picnics. East Ruston Vicarage Gardens are just a short drive away too, with over 32 acres of outstanding gardens. Be sure to pay a visit to the popular seaside town of Cromer, as well as other beaches, such as Horsey Beach, where a colony of grey seals can be seen (during November to February you can visit the newborn seal pups; a viewing platform is set up for guests to visit without disturbing the wildlife). Alternatively, spend a day in the cathedral city of Norwich, where you’ll find high street shops and plenty of places to eat out,the famous Norwich City Castle museum, cinemas and nightlife all within a 45-minutes drive.

East Ruston Old Vicarage and The Museum of the Broads are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with horse riding nearby.
