With a myriad of quiet country lanes to explore both locally and throughout North Norfolk, cyclists and walkers are spoilt for choice. Sightseers will enjoy discovering charming villages and towns, stopping to enjoy local refreshments and a trip to Gressenhall Museum is sure to fascinate. For a spot of retail therapy, the fine City of Norwich is easily accessible and offers superb cultural, dining and shopping experiences. Head South to Thetford forests for a range of activities from canopy top obstacle courses to leisurely picnics. The Norfolk coastline is a short drive away with many scenic towns to visit including Hunstanton, Blakeney and Wells next to Sea. Alternatively, just sit back, relax and re charge the batteries against the lovely backdrop of the barn itself. Upon entering the barn, guests will find the beautiful decor and calming natural tones of the hallway instantly homely, a theme which continues throughout the property. There is space to hang coats and a handy cupboard to store shoes and boots before moving through to the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The vaulted ceiling with suspended lighting certainly creates a sense space, while the furnishings, colour scheme and exposed timbers ensure a cosy feeling is retained. The lounge area with a view out to the pretty courtyard has a comfortable sofa and chair for guests to relax on after a day exploring the local area, either watching the TV/DVD or enjoying a good book. The kitchen area features a cottage style kitchen with everything required to dine in including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and freezer. A handy breakfast bar is the ideal place to grab a bite while listening to the radio and preparing for the next day s excursions, for more formal dining there is a folding table for use. Moving through to the tastefully decorated bedroom, again with its high vaulted ceiling, there is a king sized bed to ensure a good night s rest and plenty of storage. Completing the accommodation is the stylish bathroom with shower over bath and WC. The outside space has been designed to offer a great place to spend summer evenings with privacy and seclusion, with a courtyard area featuring a table and chairs and a charcoal BBQ for a spot of al fresco dining, with pretty flowerpots dotted around offering a splash of colour. There is off road parking for one car.
