Peacock Lodge is situated in the market town of Harleston, enjoying a private location and just a short walk away to enjoy the local restaurants, pubs and shops. With the ideal location of South Norfolk we have many great walks and country pubs or it is possible to explore the popular city of Norwich by car which is just over 20 miles away or visit the coast and popular trips such as Southwold and other coastal retreats which are only 30 minutes away by car.

The cottage lodge was originally built in the 1700's and is one of the oldest properties in town with some exposed timbers. Having been recently refurbished and extended the property has been upgraded to an exceptionally high standard to offer the ideal holiday cottage with modern features. A full welcome pack is provided with local attractions and recommendations to assist your visit, the cottage lodge also has private driveway to offer secure parking.

We live in the main house, Peacock Lodge has off road parking for one car with private entrance through gates. You have a newly refurbished lodge with a generous area of around 40m2 with living area, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen.

All rooms are finished to an excellent standard, simply glide back the bifold doors and enjoy the enclosed garden. Well behaved pets are welcome, please respect our house with noise and ensure access to the drive.

Located in Harleston, this vacation home is in a rural area. Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum and The 95th Bomb Group Hospital Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Valley Farm Vineyards and Dunston Hall. Oasis Camel Park and Bressingham Steam and Gardens are also worth visiting. Discover the area's water adventures with sailing and fishing nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with hiking and cycling.
