Turning tides cottage is a delightful ex fisherman's cottage built in the 1850's. It has a wealth of character features including a dual fuel log burner and exposed beam ceilings in the bed rooms. Situated on top of the cliffs with stunning sea views to the front and rear. The long sandy beach is only footsteps away, perfect for long coastal walks or family days on the beach.

Set in the seaside village of Scratby, nestled in-between Hemsby and California cliffs, all local amenities are on your doorstep or travel a little further to the seaside town of Great Yarmouth, or the historic city of Norwich. There really is something for everyone from theme parks to stately homes.
Car parking is off road in small public carpark, if you would like to park up and explore we have frequent buses right outside the door.
There is a first floor double bedroom with a sea view to the front of the cottage comfortably furnished to relax you after an enjoyable day exploring the local area and a first floor 2nd bedroom with sea views to the rear of the cottage with a single bed a stable door that also doubles as a stair gate. We can provide a travel cot in either room if requested.
*PLEASE NOTE stairs are very steep and not suitable for people limited mobility and young children should be supervised.
The kitchen has everything provided to cater for you and your family, fridge-freezer, cooker and microwave. High chair is available on request.
The cottage has a wet room, with shower, sink and WC, please bring own towels and beach towels.
The living area is comfy and cozy with a multi fuel woodburning stove for those cosy cooler evenings
A bi sected large private well established lawned garden complete with BBQ, decked area and patio for those long summer evenings, and patio furniture are also present for your enjoyment.
To the front of the property is small garden with wrought iron gates and a seating area to enjoy an early morning cup of tea or one of the beautiful sunsets over the sea.
This cosy and compact cottage has been recently redecorated throughout and furnished to a high standard.
As the cottage is a traditional 1850s cottage and due to it being on the small but perfectly equipped Ideally the cottage would suit either a couple or a young family with toddler/baby or young adult.
There are buckets and spades, wind breaks and a picnic set for you to use on your days out.
