Here, you are tucked away at the end of a no-through lane on the friendly and popular Long Beach Holiday Estate, situated on the border of Winterton-on-Sea and Hemsby. This wonderful detached cottage has been completely renovated, extended and transformed into a magnificent cottage, blending character with modern design to offer well-equipped and comfortable accommodation. There is a clubhouse with bar a few minutes’ walk away, which is dog-friendly, serves meals and has live entertainment (seasonal opening March - October). Also on-site is a grocery shop and small play park for young children.
A short stroll leads you to the sandy beach and dunes nature reserve which offers miles of peaceful walks; view the local seal colony or enjoy bird watching and walking. The lively traditional seaside resort of Great Yarmouth is 9 miles away and offers an excellent sandy beach with donkey rides, bouncy castles, fun fairs, amusements, Sea Life centre, mini golf, theatre, museums, shops and restaurants! Potter Heigham, gateway to the Norfolk Broads, is 7 miles away and Wroxham, known as the capital of the Norfolk Broads, is 15 miles away and offers daily boat hire and river trips, fishing and sailing. Children are sure to be kept happy at BeWILDerwood in Horning, an outdoor tree house adventure site with zip wires, jungle bridges, marsh walks and boat rides! Head to Roar Dinosaur Park at Lenwade with splash park, adventure climbing, fun park, offering a great family day out. Alternatively spend a day in the fine city of Norwich with its two shopping malls, market square, cathedral, theatre, castle museums, cafés and restaurants.
