Bracken Cottage Is A Super Cosy, Traditional Fisherman's Cottage In A Great Location, Brancaster Staithe

Norfolk. Sleeps up to 4

Bracken Cottage is a super cosy, traditional fisherman's cottage in a great location on the coast road in this pretty coastal village. Beautifully styled and furnished, it provides accommodation for four guests, who are looking for somewhere to stay with easy access to lots of amenities and in walking distance of two good pub/restaurants, a cafe, garage, numerous shops, a fresh fish shed and close to Brancaster's sandy beach.

Inside this beautiful cottage you'll find a pretty and charming interior. Downstairs the living space consists of a sitting room with a coal-effect electric fire, kitchen and dining area with french doors leading onto the pretty, paved, enclosed courtyard garden. There is also a family bathroom, with a shower over the bath. Climb the stairs (not too steep) and you'll find a master bedroom with King-size bed and a lovely twin bedroom with glimpses of the marsh and sea beyond, making it perfect for a small family, or one or two couples, to holiday.

Although the kitchen has everything you could need to cook up a tasty treat, Bracken Cottage is only a short walk to the award-winning White Horse pub/restaurant with its large wrap-around balcony and conservatory offering spectacular far-reaching views of the marsh and Scolt Head Island. If you're looking for somewhere more family-friendly, then walk a short distance to the award-winning Jolly Sailors which is popular with locals and families alike. With its enclosed children's play area and beer garden with ice cream booth and pizza oven, it makes a great place to dine whatever the weather (they don't mind muddy boots and dogs either!)

Walk along the coastal path accessed through the White Horse car park, and walk to neighbouring Brancaster village with its sandy beach, shop/deli and The Ship Inn pub/restaurant, or cycle the quiet lanes inland. Or catch the Coasthopper bus which stops a few minutes walk away and discover the coast without taking the car. Bracken Cottage is a great base for exploring the whole of the North Norfolk coast at any time of the year.
