While staying at the cabin guests can enjoy a range of relaxing activities such as walking the footpaths or indulging in the hot tub, venturing slightly further afield, a range of attractions to suit all ages and tastes can be found. Sports fans will enjoy trips to both Thetford forest with high wire experiences and stunning cycling tracks, while Snetterton Race Circuit is just a short drive away and has a year round calendar of events. Day trips to the coastline will find charming Norfolk and Suffolk towns and villages such as Southwold, Sheringham and Cromer while inland attractions include National Trust and English Heritage properties with Banham Zoo close by and a sure favourite for younger ones. Walking up the pathway to the cabin guests will initially enter the lodge into an open plan lounge/kitchen which with duel aspect over the lake to the front and woodland to the rear creates a bright and airy space in which to relax and enjoy time together. Space for coats and shoes can be found at the entrance and moving through to the lounge area, guests can catch up on any must see programmes or box sets on the TV/DVD from the comfort of the large sofa. Opening the double doors to the rear decking area creates a larger entertaining space while the breakfast bar in the kitchen area allows guests to enjoy any prepared meals. The contemporary kitchen area is well equipped with everything required for holiday dining including an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and microwave. Moving through to the first of two bedrooms the king size bedroom affords fantastic views over the lake with full height floor to ceiling windows on two sides. The comfortable bed offers a good night s rest while the calming neutral décor is mirrored throughout the cabin. The second bedroom has the flexibility of a zip and link bed which is two single beds which can be made into a king size on request (must be stated at the time of the booking) Completing the interior is a shower room with shower and WC. With such an idyllic setting, guests are likely to spend much of the time outside, especially when the rear garden features a raised decking on which guests can relax on the garden furniture or soak in their own private hot tub, the ultimate in relaxation. Dine alfresco or enjoy a drink on the front veranda enjoying views over the lake and watching the sun set. The lake itself has been stocked with a variety of coarse fish including roach, tench, and carp up to 30lbs should guests wish to spend some time angling. There is no closed fishing season however, the owner has the right to close when carp is spawning and there is no charge for fishing, a short walk away takes guests to the banks of the River Thet where a thatched gazebo has been located to provide a romantic spot to watch ducks glide by and kingfishers to zip past.
