Humbleyard Cottage is a pretty thatched holiday home situated in the countryside village of Inwood, just 20-minutes outside of Norwich City centre.
Nestled just down the road from a Saxon Church and river, this cottage was built in 1580 and overlooks Intwood Hall. This is a idyllic base for those who enjoy walking holidays, with an abundance of lovely walks nearby with the cottage set along the famous Kett's Country Walk - A 17-mile stretch linking Norwich and Wymondham.
Ideal for those looking to relax and enjoy the peace of rural Norfolk, with the benefit of visiting Norwich for some shopping and exploring, or the lovely beaches and Broads.
Sleeping up to 4 guests across 2 bedrooms, the cottage features a kitchen, dining room, lounge, bathroom and a beautiful spacious garden.
Driveway parking for 1 car and off-road parking is available for additional cars.
THE SPACE
A warm welcoming home with rustic features and homely décor, this charming cottage offers the perfect place to lay your head whilst visiting Norfolk.
The property can accommodate 4 guests in it's 2 bedrooms consisting of one with a king size bed and a twin room with 2 single beds. (Please be aware the wooden ceiling beams are especially low on the first floor)
A true countryside home, there's a stunning stone-bricked wall with striking wooden beams across the living room ceiling, with comfortable seating and smart television available.
The fully equipped kitchen is stocked with many utensils and amenities including a fridge-freezer, Rangemaster oven, hobs, butler sink and washing machine. Through from the kitchen is the dining room with table seating for 6 (with use of 2 additional fold up chairs kept under the stairs).
One bathroom, located upstairs, offers shower over bath, wash basin and W/C.
Outside there's a lovely spacious garden, great for games and family fun, along with outdoor seating - perfect for a bit of alfresco dining! Unfortunately BBQ's are not permitted due to the thatched roof.
Located in Norwich, this cottage is in a rural area. Norwich Theatre Royal and Colman’s Mustard Shop & Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Megazone and The Plantation Garden. Traveling with kids? Consider Sweetbriar Marshes and Norfolk Showground.
