A super brick and flint double fronted cottage, full of character and charm. Situated in the heart of the village of Docking, Maurice Cottage is a great base from which to explore all the wonders of coastal and rural North Norfolk. Bring your dogs along; they will love it too!
Maurice Cottage has a relaxed and comfortable home-from-home ambience, and is the perfect option for a couple or two, although a small family would also be very happy here. As with many cottages of this age, the bathroom is still on the ground floor but it's now thankfully tiled, smart and modern. The kitchen, with a step down to an adjoining dining area, is a lovely sociable space, where you could find you spend a great deal of time planning the day ahead or discussing the one you've just had. When it's time to settle down and relax the sitting room beckons, with comfortable sofas, a wood burning stove to light for extra warmth and a widescreen television to entertain. Up the stairs, which are a tad steep but straight, are the two bedrooms, both of which have king-size beds and televisions. Outside, the cottage has a shingled courtyard garden, both private and fully enclosed and the perfect option for a meal on a summer's evening.
Located just four miles inland from the coastline at Brancaster, and a similar distance away from the chi-chi village of Burnham Market which is found in the opposite direction, at Maurice Cottage you have found the best of both worlds.
