On the other side of the lane to the front of the cottage there is a beautiful old traditional barn being renovated (currently being re-thatched). Curlew Cottage’s lovely large, enclosed and secluded garden is tucked away at the back of the cottage, and is completely private. It has a large terrace with bbq, and a garden table with seating for 4.
Come and enjoy our very special part of Norfolk. Horsey is one of the most important wildlife spots in East Anglia, not only for its incredible seal colony on Horsey Beach, but also if you are a keen birdwatcher. ‘Horsey’ is where it all began for the 'european cranes' remarkable return to the UK. These majestic birds settled and bred here for the first time in the UK in almost 400 years. Many other species of birds thrive here and one wonderful way of seeing all the wildlife is on Ross's Wildlife Boat trip on Horsey Mere on the Norfolk Broads (April - Oct).
