The cottage has wonderful walks to Horsey's beautiful beach AND Horsey Mere, on the Norfolk Broads - with good circular walks too - past Horsey Mere, The Beach or both.

As well as being minutes away from one of the most accessible seal colonies in East Anglia, it is also an easy walk to Horsey Mere (Norfolk Broads) with its iconic National Trust wind pump. The cottage's beautiful enclosed garden is tucked away at the back of the cottage. There is a garden table with seating for 4 and a bbq.

Head off kayaking, sailing or motor boating on a nearby Broad. We also highly recommend Ross’s wildlife boatrip from Horsey staithe.
Climb to the top of Horsey's National Trust wind pump and see the wonderful views across Horsey Mere.
Visit Poppylands Dads Army themed café and the Nelson Head - both in Horsey. The National Trust Tea room, Horsey is also a good place to visit (April - Oct)
Just up the road is Sea Palling beach where you might even be tempted to try out the surf. Plenty of beaches to choose from up and down the coast.
This is the perfect base for exploring Norfolk's beautiful coast as well as The Broads with the added bonus of seeing lots of seals just an easy walk from the cottage.
Located in Great Yarmouth, this cottage is by the sea. Lost World Adventure Golf and Pirates Cove Adventure Golf are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Oasis Amusements and The Museum of the Broads. Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens and East Ruston Old Vicarage are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
