Sedgeford is a tranquil village ideally situated in the north western corner of Norfolk, and is just four miles from some of the area s loveliest beaches, including Heacham which is also home to the well known Lavender Farm. Hunstanton is just five miles away, with a choice of shops, golf course, Sea Life centre and a glorious beach. Peddars Way, an ancient Roman road, runs through Sedgeford, leading onto the breath taking Norfolk Coastal Path. You could also explore the stunning Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which includes numerous fascinating nature reserves including Blakeney Point, Pensthorpe Natural Park and RSPB Titchwell. Houghton Hall, the Holkham Estate and Sandringham are nearby, or you could visit Dersingham, Burnham Market, King s Lynn, or Fakenham. On entering this lovely and traditional carrstone cottage, which dates from 1823 and retains original features including exposed beams, you will find yourself in the bright and welcoming lounge. With plenty of comfy seating, TV/DVD/Blu ray, the light and airy lounge offers an ideal space for relaxing in at the end of a fantastic day. There s also a good selection of books, games, DVDs and maps, and a landline which accepts incoming and emergency calls only. You will also find a tastefully furnished dining room with seating for six guests and a hi fi system complete with CD, iPod dock and radio. Heading into the traditional and spacious galley style kitchen which overlooks the garden via a stable door, you will find it fully equipped with an electric fan oven and hob with extractor, microwave, toaster and large fridge/freezer. The washing machine and laundry facilities are housed in the nearby utility room. There is also a ground floor shower room complete with WC. Going upstairs to the first floor you will find three cosy bedrooms: there are two double rooms one with a king size bed and TV, and a single bedroom which has views out over the garden and a bathroom with a bath, wash basin and WC. Stepping outside you can relax and dine al fresco in the charming and fully enclosed garden which has a patio, lawn, garden furniture and a BBQ. Off road parking is available for two cars. Please note that the driveway drops on the right hand side so beware if driving low slung cars. You can also meet Harvey and Harriet the Bears who live at Honey Cottage and like to go out on trips with visitors.
