Sedgeford is a peaceful and charming village which is in the north western corner of Norfolk, just 4 miles from some to the area s most wonderful beaches. The Victorian seaside town of Hunstanton (4 miles) has a beach, an array of shops, traditional seaside amusements, a Sea Life Centre and fun fair. Old Hunstanton is home to a fantastic golf course and is the beginning of the Norfolk Coastal Path with sets out towards Holme, running along the coast from the Peddars Way which runs through Sedgeford on its way out to the coast. In Sedgeford you are perfectly placed to explore the whole of stunning North Norfolk. A coastal Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which includes fascinating nature reserves such as Blakeney Point, RSPB Titchwell and Pensthorpe. Houghton Hall (17 miles) and Sandringham (7 miles) are well worth a visit as are Burnham Market and Holt for their shopping, cafés and art galleries. This beautiful, renovated, traditional semi detached cottage, which once belonged to the Sandringham Estate, is the ideal peaceful home in a gorgeous part of Norfolk. You enter the property through the side door which leads you into the roomy kitchen area, perfect for the designated chef as it is well equipped to prepare anything from a hearty meal to a light snack with a table and four chairs. Off the kitchen is a cosy, comfortable snug with a wood burner and a two seater sofa perfect for those wishing to unwind and relax after a busy day exploring the local area; you also have a desk table and chair for those wishing to set up a workstation. Leading off from the snug is the lounge with two sofas, a large armchair and a Smart TV, an ideal spot for gathering around to watch a film. Completing the downstairs, off the kitchen is a stunning Victorian styled family bathroom with freestanding bath and separate shower cubicle. A door leads from the snug up the steep Norfolk winder staircase to the bedrooms. Heading upstairs there are three bedrooms, a double with ample storage space for your clothes and personal belongings, a twin room, again with ample storage space, and a single room with storage space. The twin and single bedrooms offer views over the rooftop to the countryside beyond. Outside, the private lawned area and terrace are to the side of the cottage. There is a large family picnic table with parasol and there is also a small seating area with a garden bench to the front of the property where you can sit and enjoy an al fresco drink and countryside views. While the garden area is enclosed by a fence to the back and sides, a sandstone wall runs along the front of the property and is quite low.
