Happisburgh (pronounced Haisbro) is a seaside village on the North East Coast of Norfolk. It has considerable historic charm with many thatched cottages and a handsome church, whose tower top is now accessible to visitors. There is a prominent red and white striped lighthouse, and the beach is loved by all age groups. There are some lovely coastal and rural walks in the area and many attractions to visit, including the Broads and the Royal Horticultural Society garden at East Ruston.

Heather Cottage is an attractively presented, pleasant, modern cottage. It is well maintained and offers a warm welcome at any time of the year.A shortcut beyond the pub, across a field, leads to steps down to the beach, turn right and a few minutes further on you will come to a new car park and picnic area and a wide sandy bay, all of this only about a seven minute walk from the cottage.
