The 17^th-century cottage sits in the heart of the Blickling Estate with the striking main house and its formal gardens nearby. It was once the dairy of the estate and among its elegant décor, intriguing original features of its past can still be seen, such as the milking parlour in the main bedroom.

Throughout your stay you’ll have immediate access to miles of walking and cycling trails through the parkland and around the impressive Jacobean Blickling Hall. There’s a traditional country pub on the estate too, The Buckinghamshire Arms, where you can warm by the log-burner and enjoy locally sourced food.

Beyond the estate walls, the sandy beaches and cliff top paths of the Norfolk coast are within 20 minute drive. Blakeney Point Nature Reserve is 20 miles away.

The Georgian market town of Aylsham can be reached within a 30 minute walk or five minute drive.
