Travel east or west from here and you will find pretty coastal roads and villages offering a variety of seaside habitats including beaches, marshes and quays. Foodies will also be spoilt for choice as Norfolk enjoys a thriving pub food scene, with many places offering seasonal local produce. Make time to visit Holt, where you will find a truly unique high street full of artisan and boutique shops, cafés and restaurants. Head to the nearby Thursford Collection for a taste of days gone by, especially in winter when it is host to their famous Christmas Spectacular with Santa’s Magical Journey.
You can also be at the gateway to the Norfolk Broads in 40 minutes’, making this a great base for those wishing to really experience Norfolk.
