A Superb Wooden Lodge That Fits The Description Of A Norfolk Hideaway To A Tee, Holme-Next-The-Sea

Norfolk. Sleeps up to 6

A superb wooden lodge that fits the description of a Norfolk hideaway to a tee. Tucked discreetly away down an unassuming lane in the middle of the tranquil coastal village of Holme-next-the-Sea is this gem of a holiday retreat. If you are looking for a peaceful place to relax and unwind, you've found it, but it's equally 'just the job' if you like being active too.

When you first step inside Willow Lodge you will certainly not be disappointed - new double glazed windows and external doors have been fitted to ensure you will kept snug and warm and the quality smart/casual interiors, dressed by a local stylist with a Norfolk theme, are sure to make you feel right at home. The welcoming L-shaped dual aspect open-plan living area with it's high ceiling is light, airy and spacious, allowing enough room for everyone to spread out. On bright and warm days, open the french doors to expand the living space even further onto the generous south facing decked patio and private enclosed garden below. The three beautifully furnished bedrooms (master king-size, double and twin) and two bathrooms (one is en-suite) are found in the other half of the lodge and all promise to ensure you a good night's sleep.

Holme-next-the-Sea, sitting at the end of Peddars Way and mid way between Thornham and Old Hunstanton, is one of our favourite coastal villages. Quieter than some of the others, it has a very laid back, gentle feel but still has a great local dog-friendly pub, The White Horse, popular with locals and visitors alike. The beach is sandy, wild and wonderful, and home to variety of fantastic bird life - you will often see striking black cormorants standing along the edge of the sea - and forms part of the North Norfolk coastal path which begins at nearby Hunstanton. Norfolk Wildlife Trust has a reserve and observatory set behind the dunes. This is a great base for walkers and cyclists as well as anyone wishing to explore the local area and further afield. Needless to say, it's an all year round birdwatcher's paradise. And your canine friends will LOVE exploring the expanse of all the local dog-friendly beaches.
