There is ample parking to the front of the property and the front door opens to a hallway giving access to a comfortable sitting room with dining area from where you can admire the wonderful views over the garden and down towards the water’s edge. Doors open to a patio offering an ideal place to enjoy a morning coffee, an evening meal or just relaxing with a book whilst watching the world go by. From the sitting room there is a separate kitchen with access to the utility room which has the benefit of an external door offering secure bike storage. There are four spacious bedrooms, two on the ground floor and two on the first floor, with a single and double room along with a bathroom on each floor. Horning is a picturesque Broadland village located on the River Bure in the heart of the Norfolk Broads with village amenities such as pubs, shops, boat trips and a tea room. Surrounding the village is wonderful countryside, woodlands and marshland with exceptional wildlife all around. From the village you can also take a paddle boat steamer to explore the superb waterways and enjoy a drink as you go from the on-board bar. Close by is the popular village of Wroxham with a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants; it’s also an excellent point for hiring a boat for the day and enjoying the waterways, plus just a short drive or cycle ride brings you to the wonderful Norfolk coast. Surrounded by spectacular waterways and a perfect base for exploring Norfolk, this spacious cottage offers a delightful holiday retreat whatever the time of the year.
