We're happy to offer 3 nights minimum during non-peak periods. Set within the grounds of The Old Manor House, this charming brick and flint Barn offers spacious and well-appointed accommodation, plus is centrally located in Cley Next the Sea. Full of character, it comprises 2 double bedrooms and a 3rd, twin room, that leads off from bedroom 2 - it is divided by a door for privacy, but there's no separate entrance, so is ideal for children. It also has generous living/ dining space, a separate kitchen and 2 bathrooms.

One of the double bedrooms enjoys an en-suite shower room and the other a TV and the adjoining family room. The family room has 2 single beds, plus a truckle bed to sleep a third. High-grade cotton bed linen is provided.

The ground floor bathroom is finished to a high specification, with a Duravit bathroom suite. There is a bath and integrated shower, washbasin and WC. Christy bath and hand towels are provided.

The kitchen is fully equipped, including a Miele oven and Miele hob, microwave, Bosch dishwasher, AEG washer/dryer and fridge with freezer compartment. There is also a large fridge/freezer in the garage (easily accessed via the barn's entrance hall) that is solely for the use of guests. For additional storage space, all the cupboards under the book shelf in main dining/living area are empty and for your use. So there is plenty of space to store things away!

The garage is also useful for guests to store bikes, fishing equipment, body boards or anything else you might wish to store in the dry and out of the barn itself.

The main living/dining area is spacious, with a comfortable seating area and log burner - an initial basket of logs is provided, plus kindling and fire lighters. There is a large, wall-mounted TV with Freeview and internet TV. In addition, there is a DVD player and a selection of DVDs for you to choose from. The dining table is situated near to the kitchen and sits up to 8 comfortably. Two walls are mostly covered with bookshelves and we have plenty for you to read!

Outside there is an attractive garden area, bordered by willow fencing. There is a wooden garden table and chairs with parasol, that sits on a sheltered terrace, plus a small lawn. We provide a BBQ in the summer months. From the back garden you can easily access Cley High Street and all its lovely attractions.

CHILDREN FRIENDLY
For guests with small children, we have a travel cot, 1 high chair and a booster seat and both sets of stairs are fitted with stair gates. We also have some games available for older children.

The local area itself has lots of things for younger children to do, including crabbing at Blakeney, the seal trips from Morston and Blakeney Quays, plus within walking distance of the barn is a small playground. North Norfolk itself is full of fun activities for children and we have details within the barn.

PET FRIENDLY
We are happy to accommodate 1 small to medium, fully house-trained dog, but kindly ask guests to let us know in advance. We also ask for dogs to only to be allowed downstairs and have stair gates to help with this.

PARKING
There is parking for 2 cars directly outside the barn.

(Please note we have a FRIDAY turn around day and a no smoking policy.)

ABOUT CLEY-NEXT-THE-SEA
Manor House Barn is centrally located within the picturesque, coastal village of Cley-Next-the-Sea. An area of outstanding natural beauty, Cley village has much to offer visitors and the beach is only 1KM away.

From the barn, there is a wide range of distractions all within easy walking distance. You can view the beautiful marshes by taking a walk along the Cley-to-Blakeney sea wall. Or you could stroll to the beach, accessed via the marshes, and watch the sea fishing or simply enjoy a walk along Cley's shingle beach. Alternatively the Norfolk Wildlife Trust visitors centre is nearby and is the perfect place from which to take in the marshes and bird watching facilities.

In the centre of Cley village you can lose yourself amongst its charming shops, pubs and restaurants. These include:

From Cley you are perfectly located to discover the delights of the North Norfolk coast - a journey you can make by foot, car or the efficient coastal hopper service.

SUGGESTED ACTIVITIES
Neighbouring Cley is the pretty village of Blakeney, which offers sailing, crabbing, and a national nature reserve. From Blakeney Point you can go seal watching and boats can be hired from either Blakeney or Morston Quay.

North Norfolk is home to some of the finest stately residences. Holkham Hall, Blickling and Felbrigg, are all within easy reach.

BEACHES

With a shingle beach at Cley, there are also sandy beaches at Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham, both of which offer fabulous, wind-swept coastlines. But if it’s traditional seaside towns you’re after, Sheringham and Cromer are also close by.

NEARBY MARKET TOWNS AND RESTAURANTS
The charming market towns of Holt and Burnham Market are both well worth a visit, with Holt just 10 minutes drive from Cley. Both offer a rich variety of shops, galleries, restaurants and pubs, including the award-winning The Hoste Arms in Burnham Market and Holts’ renowned restaurant and delicatessen, Byfords.

Located in Holt, this vacation home is in a rural area and on a river.
