THE SPACE
This upside-down barn conversion is spacious, beautiful and will make guests feel at home from the moment they step inside. All four bedrooms are located on the ground floor, including two king-sized bedrooms, one twin bedroom and one single bedroom. The main bedroom has an ensuite bathroom offering a shower and W/C, whilst the ground floor family bathroom features both a bath and walk-in shower.
The first floor open-planned living area will leave you in awe, with its lofty ceilings, exposed wooden beams, brick work, and views across open countryside. In the centre of the space is the beautiful open log burner fireplace. Perfect for chilly winter days and evenings.
At the front of the space is a cosy reading area with two chairs looking out towards large glass windows. Here you will find a bookcase with plenty of books and games to keep you occupied.
Enjoy a family movie or your favourite TV programmes in the comfortable living area, snuggled up on the two large sofas with the log burner roaring and watching your favourite streaming sites such as Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+ (Guests will need to use their own logins).
The open plan layout encourages family time and socialising when it comes to cooking up your favourite meals. This is made easy thanks to the well-equipped modern kitchen which includes a spacious oven, 5 ring gas hob, and ample kitchen work space. There is also a large dining table conveniently placed to enjoy your meal together.
At the back of the property there is a large outside space, with ample garden furniture for all the family to enjoy a fantastic BBQ during those lovely sunny days.
Located in Fakenham, this cottage is in a rural area. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Holkham National Nature Reserve and Norfolk Coast, while The Granary Theatre and Bygones Museum are cultural highlights. Traveling with kids? Consider Whin Hill Cider and Woad Centre.
