For thrill seekers, enjoy a day at the fun park Pleasurewood Hills theme park, or for a quieter day out, golfers are welcome at Gorleston golf club. Jump on the train or take a 35-minute drive to the medieval city of Norwich, voted one of the top ten shopping locations in the UK. Here you will also find art galleries, cathedral and castle museum.
Suffolk Heritage coast is full of pretty coastal villages such as Southwold, Dunwich and Aldeburgh, all within driving distance. For a change in pace, visit the Norfolk Broads National Park, the southern gateway of which lies in Oulton Broad, just a short drive away.
