Situated three miles north of Wroxham, considered the heart of the Norfolk Broads, the Broadland village of Tunstead, home to the popular Horse & Groom pub, is a wonderful place from which to explore the Norfolk Broads National Park, a picturesque 125 miles of man-made, lock-free waterways and stunning scenery and wildlife. There are many picturesque villages to visit and plenty of waterside pubs and restaurants to stop off at too. For beach lovers the seaside village of Happisburgh with its iconic candy-striped lighthouse is just a brief drive away. This is one of many beautiful local sandy beaches which are dog friendly too. Several attractions are located a brief car drive from your new lodgings, such as Wroxham Miniature Worlds, Wroxham Barns, Museum of the Broads, and the BeWILDerwood Norfolk theme park, whilst further afield, the noteworthy locations of Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens, SEA LIFE Great Yarmouth, and the National Trust site of Blickling Hall are all worth a visit.
