The Stables is a bijou bolthole for two people looking for a peaceful, country escape. A place to stay all year round, it's cosy and comfortable and situated in a lovely rural setting in the quiet lanes of Edingthorpe Green, but only three miles from the traditional seaside resort of Mundesley and its many amenities.
Adjoining the owner’s home, this single storey one-bed, stable block conversion, with a double bed and shower room, has been sympathetically restored with modern appliances. All on one level, enter in to a well-equipped kitchen - with a Nespresso Pixie coffee machine - which leads on to a light and airy, open-plan sitting/ dining room and a little outside terrace, the ideal spot for a morning coffee or some al fresco dining. There's a another, much larger, south-facing garden at the back of the property, also with some seating and dining facilities, which is enclosed and therefore the playground your four-legged friends are looking for! And, as if this isn't enough, there are lots of walks straight from the door over fields and along the old railway, or along canal routes including the nature reserve at Pigney's Wood, so you can be straight out with the hounds. Bacton Woods, only one and half miles away, has orienteering and walking trails, and is ideal for those who just want to chill and take in the sights and sounds of rural Norfolk.
The North Norfolk coast at Mundesley can be reached in six minutes in the car, and from here you can link up with the North Norfolk coastal path if you enjoy walking. The Norfolk Broads are also close by for waterside restaurants, daily boat hire and river trips, and The Stables is also within easy distance of Norwich (by road and train) for excellent shopping, theatre, the Castle Museum, art galleries and independent cafes, real ale pubs and restaurants. The market town of North Walsham is only three miles and its amenities include a leisure centre with a gym and indoor swimming pool and train station.
