The Myth is a contemporary, three-bedroom Scandinavian lodge set in the tranquil grounds of Fairway Lakes Village at Caldecott Hall Country Park, just outside the Norfolk village of Fritton. It is a spacious retreat, an ideal place to relax, explore or just unwind. The Myth entrance hall has a study area and workspace. Off the entrance hall is the master bedroom with a walk-in dressing room and en-suite shower room. A door from this bedroom allows access to the outdoor decking which has a hot tub and sauna, perfect for a relaxing evening. A twin bedroom, separate shower room and a large well equipped utility room are also on this floor. Take the stairs to the first-floor open plan lounge/kitchen/diner - a great place to relax and enjoy the views. The bespoke kitchen is well equipped for your stay. A door leads out from the dining area to a large south facing decked balcony where you can enjoy views over the golf course and lake. An external stairway also provides access to the lower deck with hot tub and sauna. The first floor is also home to a further king-size bedroom and a spacious family bathroom. Caldecott Hall Golf and Leisure offers a swimming pool, golf course, clubhouse and Barn restaurant and is also home to Redwings Horse Sanctuary where you will find our adopted pony, Lily. Olivers Cafe and gift shop, operated by Redwings, are also on site. The nearby village of Belton is just a short drive away; here you will find a convenience store, pubs, Post Office, hairdressers, takeaway and pharmacy. Within the surrounding area you will find the village of Burgh Castle, an historical Roman monument, and the coastal towns of Gorleston on Sea and Great Yarmouth. Great Yarmouth is a famous family destination with activities for all to enjoy; there is plenty of indoor and outdoor entertainment along the Golden Mile, with its pristine sands and the promenade. The beautiful beaches of Gorleston and Lowestoft are nearby while the historic market town of Beccles and the Victorian seaside town of Southwold are only a short drive away. A trip to the old city of Norwich is great for shopping, dining, nightlife and for those history buffs, the Castle and Cathedral are well worth a visit. Within driving distance of the Myth is the beauty of the Broads, a National Park With over 125 miles of navigable lock free waterways. Discover its beauty by boat or explore one of the many riverside walks or cycle paths. For those who enjoy walking the Angles Way passes through Caldecott Country Park.
