From the rear of the property guests enter directly into the large open plan kitchen/dining room, where full height windows and doors flood the room with natural light. The kitchen is well planned with lots of preparation space and benefits from quartz worktops and a range of appliances. The dining table can comfortably sit ten and is ideal for family gatherings to enjoy a glass of wine whilst planning the next day’s activities or partaking in a homemade meal. The spacious layout means you can enjoy a natter whilst watching others do the cooking! There is also outdoor seating to the rear of the property accessed from the kitchen. The living room is located on the first floor and looks out to the rear of the property. Up on the second floor there is both a twin room and a triple room, with a double and single bed. Both rooms are packed with character and have sloping ceilings. York Minster, Jorvik, Clifford’s Tower and the National Railway Museum are only a few minutes’ walk away. With its winding cobbled streets, designer stores, independent shops, boutiques, cafés and restaurants York offers a unique experience. The house is also perfectly located for walks round the historic walls or along the riverside. ‘Bishy Road’ is only a minute away where an array independent shops and restaurants can be found.
