This cosy rustic wooden lodge is nestled in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales. Based only feet away from How Stean Gorge - a natural wonder. This is one of 4 lodges that sleep 10 in sturdy bunk beds making it ideal for a group of friends or family getaways. This lodge has its own mini kitchen with a fridge, cutlery, and kettle with complimentary tea and coffee. Inside, there's a sofa, table, chairs, and wood-burning stove for cooler evenings. Outside there's a veranda with a wooden bench, bbq, fire pit, and picnic table - plenty of space to enjoy an evening bbq whilst watching the setting sun.
Natural caves and tunnels, a range of outdoor adventures, and an amazing glass-floored cafe are based onsite with amazing views of the Yorkshire Dales.
Lodges are all one large room with access to the large facilities building only feet away with toilets, family sized showers. BBQ's are available on the veranda of each lodge for cooking, however, most groups book into our cafe for meals.
Beds are supplied with mattress sheets, pillows & pillowcases. Guests are to bring along a duvet or sleeping bag.
Outdoor Activities are available to book onsite (booking in advance essential - prices vary) choose from Abseiling, Gorge Walking, Caving, Canoeing, Climbing, Kayaking, or Yorkshires only Via Ferrata High Wire Course - or challenge yourself to our Big 5 - completing 5 rock and water sport activities all in one day!
Arrival from 2pm to collect keys from reception.
Located in Harrogate, this lodge is in a rural area. Nidderdale Museum and Himalayan Garden & Sculpture Park are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Parcevall Hall Gardens and Fountains Abbey. Jervaulx Abbey and Lightwater Valley Theme Park are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
