Town: In the Domesday Book, Addingham is referred to as "Ediham", or "Home of Edi" - the Earl Edwin of Bolton Abbey. This historic village is located between Ilkley and Skipton and sits snugly in the valley of the River Wharfe, only three miles from the Dales National Park at Bolton Abbey. A corn mill near where High Mills is today was also mentioned in the Domesday Book in 1315, and over from the river is a weir, one of the most ancient medieval constructions in the village. Scenic Bolton Abbey is close by, and visitors shouldn't leave Addingham without taking a picturesque stroll along the river to the "Strid". Today Addingham is vibrant and thriving local community surrounded by stunning countryside and boasts little shops, fine pubs serving wonderful ales and a rather pleasing golf course.

Located in Keighley, this cottage is in a rural area. The DalesWay and Ilkley Pool and Lido are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Yorkshire Dales National Park and Nidderdale. Traveling with kids? Consider Millenium Maize, or check out an event or a game at Nethermoor Park. Break out the clubs and hit the links with a golf course nearby, or seek out an adventure with hiking and cycling.
