With five bedrooms, five bathrooms and luxury interiors, Lemonade Arch is a truly unforgettable stay on the North Yorkshire coast. Located close to the town centre, the house is within walking distance of all that Whitby has to offer. If you’re travelling by car, Lemonade Arch also boasts free parking on the premises for two vehicles and further free parking can be found a short 5-minute drive away.

The Space:
Lemonade Arch is bright and spacious with striking, luxury interiors. On the ground floor, you’ll find a large utility room, shower room with WC and comfortable sitting room. The property features a washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities so you can make full use of your self-catering stay.

Head up the stairs to the first floor and you’ll find a beautiful open plan kitchen, dining and living area. This stunning space includes a traditional, grey kitchen with a huge island and modern appliances. It is equipped with a coffee machine, oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge and dishwasher so you’ll have everything you need for your stay.

As well as the breakfast bar style island, there is a solid wood dining table. Perfect for family breakfasts or evening meals with friends, this space was made for socialising. Whether you’re cooking up a storm in the kitchen or ordering in a takeaway, nothing beats spending a cosy night in with your loved ones.

You’ll instantly feel at home in Lemonade Arch. The living area is made up of three comfy, leather sofas and a flat screen TV. Snuggle up and relax on the sofa after a long day of exploring Whitby.

You’ll also find a family bathroom and a bedroom on the first floor. The family bathroom is contemporary and spotless with muted grey tiles and ultra-modern fittings. It features a bathtub and overhead shower, so it is ideal for families with little ones.

The first bedroom is a calming and clean space. With a comfortable, King size bed and plush bedding, you’ll feel relaxed in no time.

Take the stairs up to the second floor and you’ll find a further four bedrooms and a second family bathroom.

The main bedroom is large and bright with stylish interiors. It boasts a Super King bed as well as a single bed. It also has a striking free-standing bathtub in the corner of the room. Blocked by a partial wall, there is also a toilet and sink area. Ideal for families, this room is both luxurious and practical as the Super King bed can also be made up as two single beds if this is more suitable for your stay.

Upon entering the next bedroom, you’ll be welcomed into a light and tranquil space. Skylight windows arch over the bed so you can gaze at the stars from the comfort of the Super King Bed. This room also boasts an en suite with a large, walk-in shower.

The final two bedrooms have the same chic style which flows throughout the rest of the property. Complete with double beds, they’re ideal for couples.

The family bathroom on this floor is stylish and fresh. With grey textured tiles and a and a modern mirror, it is a stunning space. It also features a bath with an overhead waterfall shower.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

There is free parking on the premises for two cars. Additional free parking can be found nearby, and full details will be sent to you before check in.

The Neighborhood:
Lemonade Arch is located in Spital Bridge on the east side of Whitby. Stay here and you’ll be in the perfect spot to explore everything the seaside town has to offer. Just a short walk will bring you to the town centre where you’ll find narrow, medieval streets dotted with shops, pubs and cafes. Explore boutiques selling Whitby Jet jewellery or try the local catch of the day in one of the many restaurants.

Climb the famous 199 steps and you’ll arrive at the Church of Saint Mary. You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’.

Head over the small bridge which crosses the River Esk and you’ll find yourself on the west side of Whitby. Venture along Pier Road and you’ll see arcades and shops, plus plenty more pubs and restaurants. Keep walking and you’ll reach the beautiful, blue flag West Cliff beach which is lined with beach huts. Take a stroll along the pier and watch the waves lap the shores below.

Getting Around:
The centre of Whitby is a short ten-minute walk from Lemonade Arch.

Whitby train station is less than 15-minutes away on foot so villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.

There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.

Whitby Harbour and Whitby Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore North York Moors National Park and Whitby Beach.
