This traditional detached, spacious and well-equipped farmhouse is situated close to the beach at Reighton Sands, making it the perfect spot for that family seaside holiday. Sleeping 12 and with its large farmhouse kitchen, it makes it a great social area. Some parts of the house date back to 1740 so it’s full of character and history having been renovated to a good standard. For those of you with children and pets, the garden is large and enclosed, with plenty of space for them to play. A short walk down the path brings you to Reighton Sands with its long sandy beach, why not visit and make use of the provided wind breaker and buckets and spades?. Moor Farm is a perfect base for exploring the East coast from Whitby down to Scarborough, Filey and not forgetting the traditional seaside resort of Bridlington. Yorkshire is famous for its stately homes and within a short drive, guests can visit Sledmere House, Sewerby Hall and Burton Agnes Hall. From the market town of Pickering, guests can board the steam train which goes right over the North Yorkshire Moors to Whitby, but remember to stop off at Goathland, home to the TV programme ’Heartbeat’. The cities of York and Hull are easily accessible by car making Moor Farm a great base to stay.
