The accommodation consists of 2 self catering converted barns – The Red Barn and The Hay House. There are also leisure facilities in the form of table tennis, fitness room and sauna.
The Red Barn sleeps (15) and The Hay House sleeps (11). The houses are on opposite sides of a shared yard - so they are neighbours but independent of each other. As such they are suitable to receive either a single group of up to (26) - or two smaller groups who are not known to one another.

The Red Barn

Main en-suite bedroom – double bed & bunk bed – sleeps (4).
Second en-suite bedroom – double bed – sleeps (2).
Third en-suite bedroom – triple bunk (2 down 1 up) and single bed – sleeps (4).
Downstairs contingency - double sofa bed - sleeps (2).
Conservatory - double bed and single day bed - sleeps (3).


The Hay House :-

Main en-suite bedroom – double bed – sleeps (2).
Second bedroom – 3 x single beds – sleeps (3).
Third bedroom – single bunk – sleeps (2).
Fourth bedroom – double bed + single futon + single bed – sleeps (4)(Low ceiling H 1.6 m maximum ).


In between the converted barns there is a fitness room which contains a table tennis table, a treadmill, a multi-gym weights station, 2 x exercise bikes and a junior pool table. This facility is included in the rate.
Next door to the fitness room there is a sauna room that is included in week-end group rates and otherwise can be booked at £20 for a two hour session for (4) people.
The Red Barn has private parking for (3) cars to the rear and (1) roadside space at the front. The Hay House has its own park for (6) cars to the rear.
Both houses have outside patio areas.

Wash facilities are extensive. All (3) bedrooms in The Red Barn are en-suite and there is a further shower on the ground floor. (1) bedroom in The Hay House is en-suite and it also has another shower on the ground floor. The sauna room has its own shower that can be made available to the occupants of The Hay House. There is a connecting door between the two buildings.

The Red Barn has an especially large and open kitchen/dining area with a large rectangular dining table that seats (14) people. It has hosted many family reunions and parties. Large doors open out from this room onto the patio so up to (30) people can gather comfortably.

The property is located in the village of Tollerton in a quiet lane. York is a fifteen minute drive away. The East Coast resorts of Scarborough, Whitby and Bridlington can be reached in just over an hour.The Yorkshire Dales are a simiar distance away in the opposite direction.

The village has a pub, a general store and a sports field with tennis courts and a toddler play park.

The small market town of Easingwold is (4) miles distant. It has numerous pubs, shops and restaurants.
