The kitchen/diner has an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and a washing machine. For entertainment, there is a TV with Freesat and DVD player, WiFi and a selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included. Outside there is off-road parking for two cars and an enclosed garden with furniture. The cottage accepts one well-behave dog. Smoking is not allowed. Town: Kirkbymoorside is a charming, historic market town on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, halfway between Helmsley and Pickering. This quaint town has a lot of Yorkshire charm, serving as the hub for the surrounding farms and towns. There are a number of shops to choose from, including tea houses, taverns, and restaurants, as well as antique shops, and a market day is held every Wednesday The National Park's superb walking and scenery are close by.

This cottage is located in York. Ryedale Folk Museum and North Yorkshire Moors Railway are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Cleveland Way and Malton and Norton Golf Club. Flamingo Land Theme Park and Zoo and Yorkshire Lavender are also worth visiting. Practice your golf swing on a nearby course, or enjoy other activities in the great outdoors, such as rock climbing, hiking/biking trails, and cycling in the area.
