This picture perfect cottage in the village of Gillamoor is well placed for families to enjoy the best of what the North York Moors has to offer: the famous Blakey Ridge (8 miles) with its spectacular views; the North York Moors with its rolling hills, ancient woodlands and winding rivers; and pretty, historic market towns/villages, such as Hutton le Hole (2.5 miles), Helmsley (8 miles) and Pickering (10 miles) with their wealth of cafes, tea rooms and restaurants. Why not join the Cleveland Way National Trail that'll take you through some of these delightful places and give you an excuse for tucking into some of the culinary delights on offer? You could also venture further east to the Yorkshire coast, approximately 25 miles from the property. Set over two floors, the ground floor is home to the spacious open plan lounge/dining area which is full of charm, original features and timeless furniture. At the centre is the wood burner providing warmth and a cosy ambience on chilly evenings or cold, winter days, whilst the light walls create a sense of space.
