The peaceful village of Great Habton features a lovely pub and enjoys a beautiful location close to the Howardian Hills (3.5 miles), with the North York Moors 9 miles to the north. There are wonderful country walks to enjoy throughout the area, or you could head to the pretty market towns of Malton (6 miles), Kirkbymoorside (9 miles) and Pickering (6.5 miles), where you can catch a North York Railway steam train which will take you through to the pretty seaside town of Whitby (27 miles). Heading inland, the historic city of York (22 miles) has plenty to see and do, or you could visit other attractions including Flamingo Land (3 miles) and Castle Howard (7 miles). Stepping into this pretty cottage, which features exposed beams and stonework, wooden doors and tiled floors, you will find two delightful living rooms. A charming lounge with TV and DVD player plus cosy wood burner and a separate lounge/diner with TV. Heading into the galley style kitchen, you will find it fully equipped with everything you may need including an oven, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is also a ground floor WC. Going upstairs you will find two cosy bedrooms, each with lovely views. There's a stunning master bedroom with a king size bed and a twin room which is particularly suitable for children. You will also find a bathroom complete with bath, walk in shower and WC. Outside the cottage, there's a beautiful and private south facing garden with a lawn and patio. Here you will find a herb garden and vegetable patch, as well as swings for children to play on. Ample off road parking is available.
