Completing the interior is a kitchen/diner, a utility and a first-floor sitting room with an electric fire. Outside, there is off-road parking for two cars, a Juliet balcony and a patio area with furniture, a hot tub and a sauna. Lock View is a wonderful retreat for exploring the delights of the Yorkshire Dales.

Within a short drive is the town of Skipton which is often referred to as “The Gateway to the Dales” with its castle and high street.

Located in Skipton, this cottage is in a rural area. Grimwith Reservoir and Ilkley Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Yorkshire Dales National Park and Langroyd Country Park. Thornton Hall Farm Country Park and Hesketh Farm Park are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails, rock climbing, and cycling nearby.
