River Gardens is a cottage situated next to a lovely garden centre on the banks of the River Esk in Sleights, Yorkshire. Hosting two bedrooms; a double and a twin, the property can sleep up to four people. Also within it are a shower room, kitchen/diner and a sitting room with a gas fire. Off-road parking is available for one car, while a well-behaved dog is also welcome. The enclosed garden at the rear of the property has a summerhouse and other garden furniture. River Gardens Cottage is a unique and great location for a relaxing holiday in Yorkshire. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome at an additional charge of £25.00.

Town: Sleights is situated just four miles from the Yorkshire coastline, it is also on the edge of the North Yorkshire moors, littered with villages and scenery. It is very popular with walkers and cyclists. Though quiet, Sleights has a pub, a fish and chip shop, an antique shop, a cafe and a Post Office within a Spar shop. The North Yorkshire Steam Railway is a few minutes’ drive, while the town of Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is ideally positioned to explore Yorkshire. A town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a harbour, safe sandy beaches and, of course, the abbey, reached by 199 steps.
Located in Whitby, this cottage is on a river. The area's natural beauty can be seen at North York Moors National Park and Pannett Park, while Whitby Museum and Captain Cook Memorial Museum are cultural highlights. Museum of Victorian Science and The Moors National Park Centre are also worth visiting.
