Wander out to Whitby's East Pier and East Lighthouse before venturing into the town to find a spot for lunch, choosing from a host of restaurants, cafés, pubs and classic fish and chip shops. Pass the Whalebone Arch or stop to get a holiday snap and set up camp on the beach if you've got warm weather, with Whitby's sandy strip backed by colourful beach huts and Whitby Pavilion.
