Whitby is a charming and atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches and of course the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.

Located in Whitby, this cottage is by the sea. Whitby Pavilion and Whitby Abbey are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Whitby Harbour and Whitby Golf Club. Museum of Victorian Science and The Moors National Park Centre are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking and cycling nearby.
