The Cake House is a lovely terraced cottage situated close to the market town of Malton just eighteen miles from York. The cottage sleeps five people in one double bedroom with en-suite shower, one double and one single bedroom together with family bathroom. Also in the cottage is a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with electric fire. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and an enclosed garden with furniture. The Cake House is an ideal base from which to explore this lovely part of the country.

Town: The market town of Malton has been the historic centre of Ryedale since Roman times, and has many interesting buildings including the old Corn Exchange and Assembly Rooms. A weekly general market is still held in the town, as well as livestock and farmers’ markets.

Located in Malton, this cottage is near theme parks and on a river. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Howardian Hills and North York Moors National Park, while The Milton Rooms and Eden Camp Modern History Theme Museum are cultural highlights. Scampston Walled Garden and Flamingo Land Theme Park and Zoo are also worth visiting.
