The Space:
Abbey Horizon has homely features throughout including modern furnishings and bright rooms. The apartment has been decorated to the highest standard with crisp, white walls and a mixture of wooden and carpeted flooring.

Within the property, you’ll find a welcoming living and dining area, as well as a well-equipped kitchen and a bedroom.

LIVING ROOM
The living room space features a comfy leather sofa and a flat screen TV, as well as wooden furnishings.

BALCONY
Double doors open out onto a balcony so you can relax in the sunshine and take in the breathtaking views during your stay.

KITCHEN
The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances so you can prepare meals easily during your stay.

BEDROOM
Abbey Horizon has three bedrooms. You’ll find a king-size bed on the ground floor, whilst the first floor has a twin room, with the other bedroom boasting another king-size bed which also has its own ensuite WC and sink.

You’ll be spoilt by stunning views of Whitby Abbey in the distance during your stay at Abbey Horizon with the landmark being visible throughout the apartment.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

Private on-site parking is available for one car in an undercroft car park, but there are also a number of pay and display car parks in Whitby and we’ll send options through to you prior to your arrival.

Please note you will be required to climb several flights of stairs to reach the apartment and the building does not have a lift. There are a number of steps up to the building from the car park and four flights of stairs up to the apartment door, then once inside the apartment is also split across two floors. It is therefore not suitable for those with limited mobility.

The Neighborhood:
The centre of Whitby and Whitby Harbour are just a few short steps away from Abbey Horizon, so it’s ideal if you want to experience what life is like living by the sea.

The area is famous for the quality of its fish and chip restaurants, and there are plenty of places where you can sink your teeth into a fresh catch. When you fancy a drink, you’ll find a variety of bars as well as pubs and shops in the local area.

Whitby is also famous for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’. You’ll find plenty of sites near the apartment with historic interest relating to the story. The main inspiration can be found at the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey.

Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. In particular, Dalby Forest and Guisborough Forest, just a short drive away and they both have various beautiful walking and cycling routes to explore.

Getting Around:
Abbey Horizon is just a short walk to the town centre, Whitby Harbour and the bus and train station. Villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.

There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.
