The Space:
With original beams and wood panelling, the living area has a cosy cottage feel. Featuring a statement, sandstone brick fireplace and comfy seating, it’s the perfect place to relax after a busy day exploring the area.
The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and cookware so you can make the most of your self-catering break. Ideal for socialising, the dining area shares this space where you can enjoy meals with your loved ones.
Take the stairs up to the first floor and you’ll find four bedrooms. The master bedroom has a feature wall of patterned wallpaper, a comfy double bed and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower, bathtub, WC and basin. The second room has another double bed and you’ll find a single in each of the remaining bedrooms.
Head to the family bathroom and you’ll find a traditional look. Here you’ll find a bath, shower, WC and basin.
Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
There is free on site parking for up to four vehicles.

The Cottage Barn is located in the quaint village of Kildwick, between Skipton and Keighley. Perfect for walking and hiking, here you’ll find some truly breath-taking landscapes. If you’d prefer to take it easy, it’s the ideal spot for a quiet break.
You’ll have the Yorkshire Dales right on your doorstep. With two protected areas, wild heather covering the moorland, towns and villages full of unique charm and a wonderful peaceful atmosphere, it is a place not to be missed. Whether you’re looking for a summer getaway to explore the landscapes or a winter break to cosy up in a country cottage, you will not be disappointed with the Yorkshire Dales.
As the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, Skipton is a popular nearby market town. Rich in history and natural beauty, you can explore it’s 900 year old castle and meander along the historic cobbled High Street during your visit.
Getting Around:
Kildwick can be reached via bus by using the 66 route which travels between Keighley and Skipton. The closest train station is a short 15-minute drive away in Skipton. Here you’ll find regular routes to Leeds and Carlisle.
Bus services within the National Park run throughout the year linking the main towns, villages, and popular attractions, with additional services running during the summer months.
