Low Rigg, Charming Swaledale House, Gorgeous Garden, Dog-Friendly, Wifi Sleeps 6, Richmond

Yorkshire Dales. Sleeps up to 6

Low Rigg is an attractive, homely house in the popular village of Muker, with its cosy pub, the Farmers Arms, Muker Village Shop and Tearoom, Old School Craftshop and Gallery, and Swaledale Woollens. Whilst the strict cancellation policy remains in place, if govt regulations mean guests are not allowed to visit, a full refund will be offered.

The house, sleeping up to 6, has three bedrooms; two really spacious double bedrooms overlooking the village, and a third twin bedroom, overlooking the large, enclosed, private rear garden. A family bathroom is also upstairs, with bath, separate (electric) shower, WC and basin.
Downstairs, the front door leads into a small hall, which in turn leads into the dining room, with table comfortably seating 6, logburner (starter pack of logs included) and piano, for those guests musically inclined!
The living room has a grandfather clock, antique linen press and ercol furniture, with a charming fireplace (unfortunately not working). The cottage is heated by electric storage heaters, which heat up overnight and there is an electric coal effect fire in the living room.
The kitchen, while small, is very well-equipped, with fridge/freezer (small freezer), slimline dishwasher and kitchen table and stools. The back door leads out to a beautiful rear garden, fully enclosed, with a summerhouse to sit out in on warm summer days and plenty of space for children to run about in.
One dog is very welcome (we do not charge extra for your dog) and there is free wifi. The Farmers Arms is literally stumbling distance down a snicket from the cottage (great place to meet the locals!) and is dog- and muddy boot-friendly.
Low Rigg is ideally placed in upper Swaledale, the most northerly of the Yorkshire Dales, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, surrounded by stunning scenery, perfect for walking from the doorstep. Week bookings run from Friday to Friday.

Located in Richmond, this vacation home is in a rural area. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Yorkshire Dales National Park and North Pennines, while Swaledale Museum and The Forbidden Corner are cultural highlights. Eggleston Hall and Jervaulx Abbey are also worth visiting. Explore all the area has to offer with hiking, cycling, and mountain biking.
