Heanor House is a beautiful Victorian mid-terrace property settled in the market town of Leyburn, North Yorkshire. This grand, three-storey home has a traditional interior, with gas coal effect fires and olive green and neutral tones throughout to mirror the countryside setting. Locate the off-road parking space via a private lane to the rear, before entering a sheltered walled patio and garden leading to the rear entrance into the garden room. Alternatively, enter the property through the front gate, through a manicured garden to enter the tiled entrance hall where you can leave your muddy boots. To your right, there is a charming dining room to savour mealtimes together, as you recount the adventures of the day. The spacious kitchen features fitted units with a Rangemaster cooker, gas hob, American fridge/freezer, microwave, and dishwasher to ease your self-catered stay. Head out to the rear walled garden to sip a cold beverage on the cushioned rattan furniture. On warm summer evenings relax beneath the festooned lights in the apple tree. When the day cools, head inside and upstairs to the first floor sitting room where you can admire views over Wensleydale and Middleham Castle. As the night draws in curl up in this homely room for a film night on the Smart TV. The first floor hosts a shower room to freshen up and two well-presented bedrooms, a double and a full size single, suitable both for a child or adult. Venture up to the second floor to discover a further two bedrooms, a king, a zip/link double bedroom which can also be offered as a twin room. Enjoy, also on this floor, a luxurious bathroom with a claw foot bath. Heanor House is just a short stroll away from the heart of Leyburn, home to a handful of cafes, perfect for a hearty breakfast and peppered with quirky gift stores for a souvenir as well as the famous Tennants Auction House offering varied exhibitions and high quality food. Get back to nature with a trip out to Harmby Waterfall or Wensley Waterfall and immerse yourself in the past with a stop at the remains of Middleham Castle. There are also numerous stunning walks to be enjoyed in Wensleydale, Coverdale and Swaledale. Visit the market town of Richmond, situated on the River Swale, and well known for its picturesque castle and falls. The Richmondshire Museum is also a popular tourist attraction, showcasing exhibits on the local history and culture. For a wonderful escape to North Yorkshire, consider Heanor House.
