The Judge's House is an elegant, spacious, well equipped and comfortable house offering high quality accommodation - it is excellent value for money for parties of up to eight adults plus a travel cot.

Located in a quiet cul-de-sac in very close walking distance of all Whitby's many attractions - the old town, the beach, the harbour, Pannett Park etc. The nearest shops cafes and restaurants are a 2 minute walk away.

Parking is controlled on the street and we supply parking scratch cards for one car on the street (first come basis). In addition, we supply two parking permits for the large council car park near by. These parking permits represent a saving of over £180 in car park charges for guests staying for a week. Loading and unloading in front of the house is usually easy to do.

The house is fully centrally heated with a pressurised system providing high quality showers on every floor.

There are five spacious bedrooms - a king size double, a double, a twin (can be made up as a super king, please request when booking) and two very generous single rooms. A travel cot (Babystart 910/4079) and high chair are available. There are three bath/shower rooms (plus a downstairs WC - so at least one WC on every floor). On the first floor there is a large family bathroom with separate shower, and an en-suite shower room. The third shower room and WC is on the second floor. Plans of the house layout are included in the photos of the property. Bed linen, towels (hand and bath), a choice of pillows (feather and hypoallergenic), a hairdryer in every bedroom. Beach towels and picnic knapsacks (with integral cool bags) are available too.

Downstairs there is a large sitting room with two sofas and two armchairs with a smart TV, a dining room with large oak table that sits 8 comfortably, a well appointed kitchen with granite work surfaces, gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a conservatory opening onto the sunny walled garden with Weber barbecue, table, benches and chairs. Bikes can be stored there.

There is good wi-fi connection.

We charge a separate cleaning fee of £200 for every stay. This is the same whether the stay is for 2 nights or a week, so we think it is fairer to charge this separately.

Note, Pets and smoking are not allowed in the property (including the rear garden)



Located in Whitby, this vacation home is on the waterfront. Whitby Pavilion and Whitby Abbey are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Museum of Victorian Science and The Moors National Park Centre. Motor boating and sailing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails and ecotours nearby.
