Located in the pretty village of Catterick, a number of shops and eateries are less than 0.5 miles away. For a little more choice, the Georgian market town of Richmond is 5.5 miles and the village of Northallerton is a 12 mile drive. Nestled between the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors, there is also ample opportunity to stretch your legs and take in the achingly beautiful scenery. Picnic along the River Swale or venture into Aysgarth to explore fairy tale woodland and waterfalls. Heading into this elegant home from home, you immediately have a sense of the sheer scale and quality within. To settle straight in, relax in the large lounge, home to two comfortable sofas and a wood burner ready to throw out warmth. Lending itself perfectly to cosy nights spent with the family, you can swap stories and tales, get stuck into a boardgame from the games room or switch on the Smart TV complete with Netflix to find your favourite show. Next door to the lounge is the open plan kitchen/diner. Equipped with all the kits and tricks you could need, the kitchen features an American style fridge/freezer, two ceramic hobs, double oven and microwave. Pour a round of fizz and catch up. Once you've had your meals, a useful dishwasher is at the ready to take over the rest. There is also a utility room with wine chiller fridge, sink, washing machine, tumble dyer, great for washing muddy trousers after a day on the moors, as well as a downstairs WC. Leading on from the kitchen is the diner/garden room with grand oak dining table. Soaked in sunshine from the large windows, this light and airy space is wonderful for family meals or simply enjoying a cuppa with a backdrop of the expansive garden. The room is made even more luxurious with underfloor heating, and if you like the news or a bit of music on in the background, there is also a Smart TV. The cherry on the cake for many, the property also comes with a games room packed with books, games and comfy seating. A football table is at the ready for kids and big kids to go head to head, and an impressive Smart TV with Netflix and a PlayStation 4 PRO provides hours of fun. When you can feel your energy begin to slide and your eyes get heavy, five fantastic bedrooms await. The first two bedrooms can be found downstairs. One bedroom faces the family bathroom and has a super king size bed (that can be made into two singles if preferred). The other ground floor bedroom has a king size bed and an en suite wet room. The family bathroom itself features a large walk in wet room and shower (suitable for wheelchair access). Upstairs, the remaining bedrooms can be found. The master bedroom has a fantastic diamond shaped window with incredible views over the garden and village beyond. Equipped with a king sized bed and en suite wet room, it oozes peace and tranquillity. The next bedroom has a super king bed (which can also be changed to two singles) and an en suite bathroom with a bath and overhead shower. The final bedroom is a twin room with two full size single beds and en suite wet room. Outside, an extensive lawn spreads out, an idyllic bed for summer days in the sunshine. Take your breakfast on the terrace and sip a coffee as the children play. Outdoor seating is provided, as well as a sun parasol if you would like a bit of shade. A gas BBQ with an outdoor work surface is an irresistible sight for budding chefs, something that the rest of the party will be all too happy to support!
